Don’t be surprised to see some visitors who “forgot” their swimsuit, because there are quite some people who like to sunbath in the Adam or Eve costume.

Don’t forget your sunscreen, because even in the shade you will easily sunburn because with the cool breeze, you don’t notice you are turning in a tomato. The first time I visited I needed lots of aloe vera after sun gel.

The market is held every Friday and Sunday, providing an opportunity to support local artisans and take home a unique memento. Don’t forget to check the jewelry made from stones that were found on the island, like volcanic stones (black with little holes) and olivine (mintgreen gemstone also known as peridot).
