€383,443 to improve maintenance of its sports facilities

It is a new contract within the island’s sports strategy eSPORTura 25‑35 to guarantee the conservation and use of the facilities.

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Sports Department, has awarded the comprehensive maintenance service of its sports facilities for 383,443 euros. The objective of this contract is to ensure the preservation and use of the equipment, elements, materials and buildings that compose these facilities managed by the Sports Service of the Cabildo of Puerto del Rosario, “ensuring a quality sporting practice,” says the island president, Lola García.

This intervention is part of the island sports strategy eSPORTura 25‑35 as a transversal element to improve the functioning of sports infrastructure, serving as a pillar within the social dimension, preventive and corrective maintenance of the network of own sports facilities.

“For the Cabildo it is essential to be able to offer the best of our sports facilities, guaranteeing the practice of activities throughout the year, in the facilities under our own management: the Francisco Melián Island Sports Center, the Island Sports Pavilion of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, the Island Nautical Center and the Fuerteventura Island Motocross Circuit.”

The service was awarded to the company Samyl Facility Service SL, for two years, renewable for another two years.
