Official Statements

“It is essential to support the services that social‑fabric associations provide to the most vulnerable people in every municipality of Fuerteventura, which is why we have accelerated the agreements for the well‑being of the population,” said Lola García, President of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura.

“The Cabildo remains committed to the actions carried out by these associations throughout the island: a great effort that helps prevent hardship and ensures a more dignified and just life for the most vulnerable,” affirmed Víctor Alonso, Island Counselor for Social Action.

Areas of Support

The funding will back initiatives in several key fields, including:

  • Elderly care
