73 Rental Assistance Grants Approved in Puerto del Rosario

The Puerto del Rosario City Council has published the provisional list of beneficiaries for the 2025 rental‑aid program, approved by the Local Government Board in an extraordinary session held on 14 October. The announcement was released on Friday in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas (No. 125, 17 October 2025).

According to the official document, more than 300 applications were received. 26 have been provisionally admitted, while another 47 are approved pending the submission of missing documentation.

287 applications were denied or excluded, either because they were submitted after the deadline or did not meet the eligibility criteria.

The council reminds interested parties that they have ten working days from the day after the Gazette’s publication to file objections or provide the required documentation.

Mayor David de Vera and Housing Councilor Toñi Fernández Aragón provided statements on the aid program.

“These aids represent a crucial support for many families in the municipality, especially at a time when rent accounts for a significant portion of household expenses,” said Mayor David de Vera.

“Such calls help relieve the economic burden on numerous families and contribute to improving their stability,” added Councilor Toñi Fernández Aragón.

The complete list of applications can be consulted on the City Council’s Notice Board, on the municipal website www.puertodelrosario.org, and in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas dated 17 October.
