Alisio Returns With Strength Starting Tuesday
Temperatures drop and haze will recede
After two days of calm, the wind will become the main player from Tuesday onward, blowing across the island of Fuerteventura with moderate strength until Saturday. In addition, sea conditions will intensify.
The trade wind reasserts itself, displacing the Saharan ridge, lowering temperatures, and pushing the haze southward. Meanwhile, sea strength increases, with waves that could reach up to three meters high on the north and west coasts of the island.
Swimmers and beachgoers are advised to exercise great caution, especially in areas exposed to the trade wind—potentially the north, northwest, and southeast parts of Fuerteventura.
