Anjoca injects 10 million into the company behind Corralejo's luxury resort

The macro‑tourism project, with nearly 500 rooms, will open this December in northern Fuerteventura.

Anjoca, the business conglomerate founded by the late Ángel Jove Capellán, has made a capital contribution of €57 million to the company that promotes the Elba Corralejo hotel – a four‑star resort with a budget of around €100 million slated to open in December.

The group, now led by its new president Ángel Jove González, closed 2025 with a turnover of €180 million, up almost 8 % year‑on‑year.

The Elba Corralejo hotel in Fuerteventura has been the focus of the company’s investments in the tourism sector over the past two years. This week, Anjoca injected €10 million into the capital of the subsidiary that drives the complex.

Project Overview

  • Opening: December 2026, during the winter season.
  • Accommodation: Approximately 500 rooms, including 52 rooms with direct pool access.
  • Segments: Separate zones for families and adults only, marketed as the Elba Corralejo Premium Level.

Facilities

  • Total built area: ~50,000 m² of facilities.
  • Gardens: 16,000 m².
  • Pools: 24 swimming pools, of which six are “river‑type”.
  • Children’s area: 4,000 m² of dedicated children’s facilities.
  • Wellness: An exclusive spa centre.

The resort represents a significant scaling‑up of Anjoca’s tourism offering in the north of Fuerteventura.
