Anjoca to Invest €10 Million in Tourist Villas at Caleta de Fuste
The project includes the construction of 58 villas and the creation of a large public green area, according to a statement from the Antigua City Council.
The Antigua City Council has approved the plan presented by Anjoca Canarias to build a complex of 58 tourist villas in Caleta de Fuste, with an estimated investment of €10 million.
The initiative, approved on Thursday, 16 April by the Governing Board, is part of the II Plan for Modernisation, Improvement and Enhancement of Tourist Competitiveness in Caleta de Fuste. It will be carried out on a plot that previously housed the company’s offices.
As a mandatory component, the project will develop a green zone of approximately 26,000 m², featuring public amenities such as a children’s playground, functional‑training areas, shaded spots with pergolas, benches and rest areas.
The plan also foresees the creation of a road connection linking this sector of Caleta de Fuste with the residential area of Montecastillo, promoting urban integration of the surroundings.
This investment is part of the actions driven by the II Plan for Tourist Modernisation, a tool aimed at boosting the destination’s competitiveness, improving infrastructure quality, and reorganising urban spaces for the public good.
