Black Day on the Majorero Beaches with Two Fatalities
This afternoon, a rescue was reported of a man showing signs of drowning on a beach in Corralejo, in the municipality of La Oliva. The man, about 50 years old, died despite all efforts to save him.
The Canary Islands Government’s Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert that people had pulled a man out of the water with drowning symptoms and that he required medical assistance.
