Applications open for young Fuerteventura creators at January Maxo Arte Market
Young island artists can apply for the market in Puerto del Rosario on 2–5 January 2027. They can run their own stall or let market staff handle sales.
Young artists and creators in Fuerteventura can now apply for the third Maxo Arte Market Navidad. The market will take place on 2–5 January 2027 in the square at the Centro Insular de Juventud in Puerto del Rosario.
The Cabildo announced on 4 November that applications were open. Its Education and Youth department is organising the Christmas-season market. The event will give young island creators a place to show and sell their work to the public.
Two ways to take part
Creators can run their own stall and sell their work directly. They can also leave their products with the market team, whose staff will handle sales. The Cabildo says this second option aims to help more young people take part.
Interested creators can apply through the official form. The announcement gives no deadline to apply. It also gives no detailed age requirements or market opening hours.
The department, led by Adargoma Hernández, is urging Fuerteventura’s young creators to join the event. The market is now in its third year in a row. It aims to help emerging island talent gain recognition and bring their creative projects to a wider audience.
