Armas vessel on the Las Palmas‑Morro Jable line must dock at Puerto

Weather conditions in the south of the island made docking impossible

The catamaran that operates the line between Puerto de la Luz in Las Palmas and Morro Jable in Pájara was forced to abort its docking in the island’s south due to the rough sea state.

The vessel was unloading in Puerto del Rosario this morning and was expecting passengers from the south to board for the return trip to Gran Canaria.

During the morning, bad weather continued across the island, with several alerts activated—including strong wind and heavy swell. Authorities expect the situation to improve in the afternoon and especially on Sunday.
