Binter adds a Gran Canaria flight, capitalizing on the expanded schedule

The Canary airline aims to capitalize on the extended schedules at both airports, which will operate from 07:00 to 23:00.

Binter will increase the number of flights and seats available to La Palma and Fuerteventura starting 1 November, after learning that both airports will extend their operating hours until 23:00.

The change allows the carrier to move the first departures to Gran Canaria and Tenerife North to 07:00, and to push the last connections of the day to 21:15 and 22:00, respectively. Return flights are also extended, with departures from Gran Canaria at 21:55 and from Tenerife at 22:15.

As a result, Fuerteventura—already operating from 07:00—gains an additional hour of activity at the end of the day. This enables the addition of a new flight from Gran Canaria at 22:00, expanding the island’s connection possibilities with the rest of Binter’s network.

According to data provided by the airline, the new schedule represents a 14 % increase in seat capacity to La Palma and a 41 % improvement in its external connectivity, totaling 228 weekly routes. For Fuerteventura, the growth will be 4 % in seat capacity and 11 % in external connectivity, reaching 209 weekly connections.
