Bustamante and fireworks close Antigua's festival
A Spectacular Finale
The Antigua Festivities reached a fever‑pitch on Sunday night with a dazzling concert by singer David Bustamante. Thousands of attendees filled the fairgrounds, surrounding streets and the nearby plaza, creating a full‑house atmosphere. The evening was highlighted by a grand fireworks display that preceded performances by Gente Nueva, Grupo Bomba and its orchestra, as well as the bands Wamampy and Mecánica by Tamarindos.
Late‑Night Diana Floreada
The most enthusiastic revelers accompanied the Banda de Agaete at 5 a.m., marching through the streets of Antigua for the traditional Diana Floreada. The procession concluded with a refreshing Fiesta de la Espuma, adding a festive splash to the night’s celebrations.
