Operators of the Water Supply Consortium (CAAF) have discovered an illegal connection to the island’s water network in the town of Tindaya.

The finding originated from a resident who alerted CAAF personnel about the suspicious tap.

The unauthorized connection compromises the proper functioning of the system and is causing measurable water losses.

CAAF confirms it will report the offense to the authorities.
