Cabildo Launches Youth Grants of Up to €5,000

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura has launched the 2026 generic youth grant call, aimed at non‑profit associations, foundations and federations headquartered on the island that develop youth projects in Fuerteventura.

The call will fund projects or programmes of youth activities driven by social entities, with the goal of supporting initiatives related to participation, training, culture, leisure or social intervention.

Applications can be submitted until 21 April and must be processed online through the Cabildo’s electronic portal.

A key change for this edition is the increase in the maximum amount per project, which rises from €4,000 to €5,000, as detailed by the island authority.

Projects eligible for these grants may focus on areas such as:

  • Equality
  • Social inclusion
  • Health
  • Leisure and free time
  • Environment
  • Cultural heritage
  • Responsible use of technologies

Full information about the call is available on the Aid, Scholarships and Grants section of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura’s website.

“These subsidies are part of the institution’s commitment to the youth of Fuerteventura and to strengthening the island’s associative fabric,” said Lola García, President of the Cabildo.

“The call aims to support initiatives that originate from young people themselves and that promote values such as participation, equality, health, respect for the environment, and the responsible use of new technologies,” added Adargoma Hernández, Councillor for Youth.
