Both events aim to showcase the best of these beautiful animals at the fair.

The 38th Agricultural, Livestock and Fishing Fair of Fuerteventura (FEAGA) hosted the 14th Island Exhibition of the Canary Podenco, organized by the Club Isla de Lobos del Podenco Canario de Fuerteventura.

Around forty specimens participated in the exhibition, with the following winners:

• Hunter (Pedro González) – Best male puppy
• Samba (Pedro González) – Best female puppy
• Nilo (Alejandro Ávila) – Best male exhibition dog
• Bimba (Álvaro Gancedo) – Best female exhibition dog

Feaga 2026 also featured the Majorero Barden Dog Show, organized by the Association for the Conservation of the Majorero Dog, alongside the podenco race in collaboration with the Society of Hunters of Fuerteventura.
