Deadline Still Open to Join the Dual Inserta Fuerteventura Program
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura and the University Foundation of Las Palmas (FULP) remind readers that the registration window for the new edition of the Dual Training Program Inserta Fuerteventura is still open and will remain available until December 31.
This initiative strengthens the island’s commitment to improving youth employability, expanding the number of places in this edition to 25 beneficiaries. The program targets university graduates and vocational‑training graduates residing in Fuerteventura, with special focus on people under 30 and those who have completed their studies within the last two years.
Inserta Fuerteventura combines non‑working practical stays in companies, institutions, or with self‑employed professionals with a training itinerary centered on key competencies for entering the labour market. The curriculum includes employability skills, languages, digital competencies, and transversal abilities.
The program will run for ten months, during which participants will receive a monthly financial aid of €950 for university graduates and €850 for vocational‑training graduates. These amounts cover the corresponding Social Security contributions.
Funding comes from the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, drawn from the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN), positioning the scheme as a tool to facilitate labour insertion and the first professional contact for qualified young people on the island.
“We encourage interested individuals not to miss this opportunity and to complete their registration before the deadline on December 31,” says Nuria Cabrera, Councillor for Employment Promotion, together with the University Foundation of Las Palmas.
