Earth Set to Swallow All of Spain and Portugal
A massive plume of dust is skirting the islands and will affect the entire southern Europe.
The dust, for once, is avoiding the Canary Islands as it moves out of the African continent. Driven by several low‑pressure systems acting like a transmission belt, it is heading with force toward southern Europe.
In the coming days the phenomenon will become noticeable across Spain and will also hit Portugal, Italy, and southern France with great intensity. Meteorologists do not rule out the possibility that it could reach even more northern latitudes.
This is an unusual dust plume that will also penetrate almost the whole Mediterranean, reaching distant points such as Greece and Turkey.
