Friday's Gran Tarajal Carnival events cancelled
The weather situation forces the suspension to ensure the safety of participants and the public.
The safety officials of the Gran Tarajal carnival announced that the municipal murga competition, a key part of the popular Tuineje municipality carnival, is cancelled. All outdoor activities scheduled for today have also been suspended.
Strong wind gusts are expected throughout the day and night on Friday, leading authorities to deem cancellation the safest option for participants and attendees. Municipal facilities will remain closed.
The town remains under a wind pre‑alert until at least Sunday, with wind intensity expected to increase in the coming hours. The council urges residents to exercise extreme caution and stay informed through official channels.
