Front’s trailing edge will bring rain to Fuerteventura on Tuesday
Temperatures will drop again with moderate to strong northwest winds
The tail of a cold front, generated by a low‑pressure system that will affect mainland Europe, is expected to bring rain to the islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote on Tuesday, according to all weather models.
- The northern part of the island will be most affected, but light rain will be widespread across all of Fuerteventura, with occasional brief showers of moderate intensity.
All indications point to a dry Wednesday, as the trade winds return and are likely to strengthen toward the weekend.
Regarding sea conditions, the wave height will remain relatively calm until Wednesday. After that, it is expected to increase significantly, potentially reaching 5 meters on Sunday, the 18th, when alerts are likely to be issued. Swimmers are advised to exercise great caution.
