Fuerteventura Council Opens Generic Education Grant Call
Grants up to €4,000 per project; application deadline February 11
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through its Department of Education, has launched a generic grant call in the field of education. The funding aims to support educational projects carried out on the island. Applications will be accepted until February 11.
“These grants are essential to back innovative projects in the educational sector, within the work carried out by the Department of Education,” said Lola García, President of the Cabildo.
The call provides a maximum allocation of €4,000 per proposal, intended to fund projects, actions, and activities that enhance education on the island. Eligible beneficiaries include educational centres, parents’ and guardians’ associations, and local entities that operate authorised early‑childhood schools.
“We have improved the evaluation criteria, made the aid more flexible, and opened the door to a larger number of educational projects,” emphasized Adargoma Hernández, Councillor for Education.
All applications must be submitted electronically via the Cabildo’s online portal. Detailed information and the standardized application form are available on the official website: https://www.cabildofuer.es/cabildo/genericas-2026/
With this initiative, the Cabildo of Fuerteventura reaffirms its commitment to promoting education, supporting initiatives that raise educational quality and foster innovative projects for the benefit of the island’s learning community.
