Fuerteventura protests in Corralejo against animal cruelty and hunting

Demonstrations Called Across Spain This Sunday

The NAC (No A la Caza) platform has organized protests against hunting activities for this Sunday, scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on the mainland and 11:00 a.m. in the Canary Islands. Through its Instagram profile, the group urges citizens to rally “against hunting and animal abuse, especially hunting with greyhounds and other breeds, which remains legal in Spain despite the suffering it causes.”

“Animals are not tools or objects, and their lives and dignity deserve respect. We cannot continue to allow a ‘tradition’ that puts fun and profit ahead of systematic pain and abandonment,” the organization emphasized.

Context
