Fuerteventura TV streams Fitur 2026 live to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote
Special coverage from Madrid of one of the world’s most important tourism fairs
A year again, Fuerteventura Televisión travels to Madrid to cover FITUR 2026, one of the most relevant international tourism fairs worldwide. The event serves as a key showcase where Fuerteventura continues to strengthen its strategy to attract tourists increasingly committed to sustainability, territorial conservation, and the destination’s distinctive values.
A team from Fuerteventura Televisión, led by director Josechu Armas, will broadcast live to households in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura everything that happens at the Canary Islands stand. The coverage will include interviews with the main protagonists of the archipelago’s tourism sector, institutional representatives, and economic agents.
The channel will air two special live programs on Wednesday, 21 January, and Thursday, 22 January at 13:00 h, coordinated by journalist Erika Cerdeña, director of the program Voces de La Mañana on LANCELOT RADIO. Both specials will be rebroadcast at 20:00 h on the same days.
Tourism remains the primary economic activity of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, underpinning all other sectors, including agriculture. Consequently, advancing a model that targets more conscious visitors—those who value the cultural, sporting, and experiential assets of the destination—is crucial. This aligns with an objective already embraced by local institutions: fewer tourists, but higher spending and greater returns for the territory.
