Fuerteventura’s Cabildo Backs 2025 Fashion Week
This year, the Fashion Week will be held at the Training and Congress Palace in Puerto del Rosario
The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through its Economic Promotion department, has signed a collaboration agreement to host the Fuerteventura Fashion Week 2025 from October 17‑19 in Puerto del Rosario.
The agreement was signed today by Nuria Cabrera, Councillor for Economic Promotion, and Rosa María Perdomo, brand manager. It includes an island contribution of €45,000 from the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN). This financing will cover production, communication, model hiring, logistics, and parallel activities, cementing the event as a benchmark in the fashion sector and a driver of economic and cultural growth for the island.
“In addition to its artistic value, the event will have a direct impact on the local economy, benefiting commerce, generating employment, and diversifying Fuerteventura’s cultural offering,” — Nuria Cabrera.
The 2025 edition is envisioned as a showcase for Canary designers and a catalyst for the island’s international projection, positioning Fuerteventura as the fashion capital of the Canary Islands and a reference destination in the cultural arena.
