Gavia Business Association Gives Unwavering Support to Agrof in Tuineje
The entrepreneurs of the southern municipality consider the initiative to revitalize interior areas a “success.”
The Small and Medium Enterprise Association of Tuineje, La Gavia, wants to highlight the importance of projects like Agrofuer in the historic centre of Tuineje.
“From this association we believe it is essential that, in zones less benefited by the tourism industry, meeting points are created between the more rural economy and visitors.”
In this spirit, La Gavia will be present to back the initiative and wishes to thank both the Town Hall and the Island Council for their willingness to host an event of this nature in the municipality of Tuineje.
“Bringing local produce, gastronomy, and island craftsmanship to residents and visitors adds great value and supports sectors that need this kind of backing,” explains La Gavia’s president, Nina Rodríguez. “If we also showcase the best of our culture, we create an important framework for everyone—neighbors, producers, and entrepreneurs alike.”
La Gavia applauds the project within a circular economy context:
“We all benefit when a tourism industry, often trapped in the endless cycle of sun and beach, recognizes that the island has far more to offer.”
“We will be at the fair, we will be in Tuineje, and we hope that everyone who comes to our municipality enjoys our culture and the finest of our gastronomy, products, and island craftsmanship.”
