The Alisio’s Arrival Will Bring Clear Skies to the Island

The haze that has lingered over the island for several days will start to recede from this Saturday afternoon, coinciding with the arrival of moderate northeast alisios. These winds are expected to intensify from moderate to strong by Friday.

Temperatures will drop and cloud cover will become variable, accompanying several windy days—especially in the north, west, and southeast parts of the island.

The wind will be accompanied by strong sea conditions, with waves reaching up to 2.5 meters along the northern and western coasts. Swimmers are advised to exercise great caution.
