Haze Will Arrive Wednesday Afternoon
Will be accompanied by a drop in wind and a rise in temperatures
A new episode of suspended dust is looming over Fuerteventura due to the intrusion of the dorsal and the presence of an anticyclone over the islands that blocks the trade winds.
Light northeast winds and rising temperatures will accompany the calima, with thermometer readings that could approach 30 °C in many parts of the island.
All signs point to the situation persisting in this manner at least until the weekend and possibly into the early part of next week.
Regarding the sea, swimmers are advised to exercise caution, especially on the north and west coasts, where waves could exceed two metres in height at certain spots.
