‘I Shop in Fuerteventura 2025’ vouchers sell out in an hour

Queues forming at various shops across the capital illustrate the campaign’s success.

The vouchers from the “I Shop in Fuerteventura 2025” initiative were released today and, within an hour, were completely sold out on the Cabildo’s website. The high demand was also evident on the streets, where numerous stores throughout the island saw lines forming from the first minutes of the launch.

The program, driven by the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, aims to boost local consumption and provide direct support to the island’s small and medium‑sized businesses—from the traditional neighborhood shop in Puerto del Rosario to a range of clothing and footwear retailers.

Key points for voucher holders:

  • Vouchers can be redeemed for several months, giving buyers ample time to use them.
  • Each participating shop has a limited voucher balance; once that limit is reached, the vouchers can no longer be used at that establishment.
  • Many purchasers are already planning their shopping ahead of time to ensure their vouchers can be applied before the shop’s allocation runs out.
