Iberia Express plans two to three daily flights each way between Madrid and Fuerteventura
The airline plans more than 1.7 million Canary Islands seats this winter, with two to three daily flights in each direction on its Madrid–Fuerteventura route.
Iberia Express plans to operate between two and three flights a day in each direction between Madrid and Fuerteventura during the winter season, which runs until 27 March 2027.
The route forms part of a wider increase in the airline’s Canary Islands schedule. Iberia Express has planned more than 1.7 million seats on flights to and from the archipelago, 29% more than in 2025, supported by a 25% increase in flights and greater use of its Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Across the Canary Islands, the airline plans 386 flights a week. Its schedule includes an average of ten flights a day in each direction to Gran Canaria and another ten to Tenerife. Between Madrid and Lanzarote, it plans three to four daily flights each way. La Palma will have one daily flight in each direction, rising to two during weeks of peak demand.
Across its network, Iberia Express plans to offer 12% more seats and operate 7% more flights than in the same winter period of 2025. Its commercial director, Isabel Rodríguez, said the programme was intended to strengthen connections for residents and visitors and provide links for winter tourists.
