Israel kills 8 people this morning, including several children
They were in two homes in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The Israeli army killed at least eight Palestinians on Sunday after striking two homes where they were sheltering in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to medical sources.
Among the dead are children, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa. In the besieged Gaza City, from where, according to Israeli authorities, 750,000 people have already fled southward, explosions caused by unmanned aerial vehicles in residential areas and drone attacks continued early this morning.
EU foreign affairs chief Kaja Kallas has urged Israel to reopen the Allenby border crossing between the West Bank and Jordan for goods, after Israeli authorities decided to close it and later reopen it only for the passage of people.
“A quarter of the humanitarian aid entering Gaza does so through this crossing,” Kallas said, describing the situation in the Strip as “unsustainable and catastrophic.”
