Jandía Golf Revives in the Island’s South

After a €12 million investment, LIVVO reopens the renowned golf establishment in Jandía

The LIVVO Jandía Golf Hotel throws its doors open again, now featuring a transformed space, a brand‑new restaurant, and a project that promises to boost tourism, gastronomy, and sport on the island of Fuerteventura.

The reopening of the LIVVO Jandía Golf Hotel and its 18‑hole course signifies more than just a new chapter; it marks the return of a venue that lay silent for years and is now beating strongly again in the island’s south, according to par4media.com.

The inauguration gathered about 150 attendees, including representatives of the local community, police and military officials, public officials, and executives from Livvo Hotels and other chains.

The ceremony was chaired by the Tourism Counselor of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Marlen Figueroa, the Mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jesús Jorge Moreno, and the hotel’s own director, Donaire, who received a long round of applause when he took the floor.

The reopening also brought another eagerly awaited announcement: the launch of the 19 by Pellizco restaurant, located in the former clubhouse and headed by renowned chef Rigoberto Almeida, who already showcased his talent during the inaugural cocktail reception.

Regarding the golf course, the new layout marks a clear before‑and‑after. Converting the old clubhouse into a restaurant required moving the pro‑shop next to the hotel reception and redesigning the hole numbering.

The first tee, now positioned closer to the main building, welcomes players to a course that feels refreshed from the very first step. To top it off, a large panoramic terrace has been created beside the pro‑shop, destined to become the genuine “hole 19” for golfers.

Jandía Golf is back. The hotel is back. And, truth be told, Fuerteventura regains an essential venue for tourism, sport, and fine dining—a perfect combination to write a new chapter in the island’s southern region.
