La Oliva police fines campers on the coast
Violators camping beyond all limits are multiplying in the northern municipality
In a statement from the Local Police of La Oliva it is noted that “during the current week, as part of the routine prevention, security and control duties in the municipality, agents of the Local Police of La Oliva have issued several reports for non‑compliance with the Ordinance Regulating the Uses and Exploitations of the Municipality’s Beaches.”
Among the detected violations, the following stand out:
- Vehicles parked beyond the land‑sea limit.
- Parking in prohibited areas with belongings outside the vehicles and barbecues installed, considered a camping situation.
“We remind you that protecting our beaches is a shared responsibility. Complying with the municipal ordinance is as important as maintaining a civic and environmentally respectful conduct,” explains the municipal police.
