La Pared Development Construction Advances Rapidly

The mayor of the Pájara City Council, Alejandro Jorge, and the first deputy mayor and councilor for Works and Urbanism, Alexis Alonso, visited the La Pared urbanization this morning to inspect the ongoing works.

Thanks to the project, the following upgrades are being carried out:

  • Renovation of sidewalks, streets, asphalt, and lighting.
  • Improvement of the water‑supply system and replacement of obsolete pipelines.
  • Expansion of the investment budget from an initial €1 million to more than €5 million.

From the Urbanization and Works department, headed by Alexis Alonso, a new initiative has been launched that adds €4 million to the funding pool. Alonso also highlighted that “we are working on several area projects, such as the promenade and the roundabout at the entrance.”

Mayor Alejandro Jorge emphasized that improvements across the municipality’s localities will be continuous and progressive. He noted:

“The urbanization of La Pared was one of the major neighborhood demands we had to address, and we can see that the works are progressing at a good pace.”

With interventions like these, the Pájara City Council aims to keep enhancing public services, promote modernization, and implement urban development projects that benefit the community.
