Low-Cost Gasoline Arrives in Antigua

Plenergy expands the low‑cost fuel market in Fuerteventura

The low‑cost gasoline market in the Canary Islands is rapidly expanding. Growing demand from drivers seeking more affordable alternatives to reduce the economic impact of fuel has driven one of the leading companies in the sector to take a significant step in the archipelago. This initiative marks a milestone for the island of Fuerteventura.

Quality fuel and savings

According to the company, this refueling model combines high‑quality fuel, competitive prices and personalized service, which can represent an annual saving of up to €400 for residents in the Canary Islands.

Plenergy arrives in Fuerteventura

At the forefront of this development is Plenergy, which has opened its first gas station in La Antigua, Fuerteventura. With this opening, the company now operates 15 stations throughout the archipelago: six in Gran Canaria, five in Tenerife, two in Lanzarote, one in La Palma and, now, one in Fuerteventura.

“Each new opening in the Canary Islands reinforces our commitment to offer residents a refueling solution that combines high‑quality fuel, competitive prices and a service tailored to consumer needs,” says José Rodríguez de Arellano, General Director of Plenergy.
He adds that this arrival in Fuerteventura represents “a milestone in the trajectory that began in 2022, positioning us as the leading low‑cost operator in the archipelago.”
