Mental Health Fair “Sense & Sensitivity” postponed to 2026

The Casa del Universo Wellness Association, the organization behind the “Sense and Sensitivity” Mental Health Fair, announced that the event—originally scheduled for October 10 this year—will be postponed to 2026.

The association’s president, Ésara Perdomo Gómez, explained that the decision follows the death of her father, one of the collective members. Speaking with calm and gratitude, she said:

“Grieving a parent is something that must be lived by giving it, and ourselves, the time and love it deserves. It would make no sense to continue with a fair that promotes self‑care, empathy and mental health if we are not consistent with those values in our personal and collective lives.”

Perdomo added an optimistic outlook for the next edition:

“The year 2026 will arrive with more strength, more attention and more affection. Life reminds us that caring for ourselves also means knowing when to stop, breathe and heal before moving forward.”

A Pause Aligned with the Fair’s Values

The association stresses that the postponement is not a cancellation but a demonstration of coherence with the principles that inspire the project. The break will allow organizers to rethink and strengthen the fair, which will return in 2026 with a renewed format, a larger and more accessible venue, new meeting spaces, expert voices, and a program of activities for all ages.

“Mental health is not only a concept promoted outwardly; it is a practice lived from within.”

Looking to the Future with Collective Support

The organization is now launching an active listening and co‑creation process, inviting institutions, associations, businesses, and citizens to join the path toward 2026.

“This is a project of many hands and many hearts. The response we have received from associations and individuals has been profoundly comforting. We feel we are not alone, and that is precisely what the fair seeks to convey: no one should feel alone in their mental‑health journey.”

A special call is made to companies to get involved not just as sponsors but as agents of change within their own teams. As an example, IR Maxoinversion supported the initiative over the past year through the H2GO Repsol Muelle Chico station and has already confirmed its backing for the next edition.

The official website, www.feriasaludmental.com, will remain active as an information and contact hub. In the coming months, a form will be made available for entities and individuals interested in participating in the 2026 edition.
