Mixed weather continues into the weekend

Possibility of occasional showers on Friday and strong winds on Sunday

We continue to experience the atypical weather that 2026 has brought to Fuerteventura, following a very rainy and windy end to the month of 25.

  • Friday: Forecast models indicate a high likelihood of drizzle and even occasional downpours across the island, with winds still coming from the northwest. Temperatures will be lower, and the sea level is expected to drop significantly.

  • Saturday: Conditions will calm down, featuring moderate north‑origin winds and somewhat clearer skies. The weather will remain unpleasant, with a chance of drizzle in the northern part of the island.

  • Sunday: The trade wind will be at full strength, bringing strong northeast winds. The morning will be cloudy, turning clear in the afternoon. Sea conditions will rise again, and great caution is advised along the coast, especially on the north and west sides of the island.
