New earthquake north of El Cotillo

The movement registers this time at 2.7 on the scale

A new seismic event of magnitude 2.7 occurred tonight about 18 km northwest of the coast of Fuerteventura. The quake originated just a few meters below the surface in the crust, and so far there are no reports of it being felt by the population. The tremor struck at 00:27 on Monday morning.

The intensity of the tremor is a few degrees higher than usual for the area, but it falls within the normal range of such phenomena at shallow depths near the island.
