New Technical Sessions and Global Startup Competition Mark Day Two of Africagua Canarias 2025
The second day of the forum arrives with a technical programme focused on business internationalisation, international tenders and innovation applied to water and energy.
The Training and Congress Palace brings together companies, institutions and experts today in an agenda that includes technical round‑tables centred on internationalisation and international procurement. The day will culminate with one of the forum’s most anticipated moments: the presentation of the finalists and the award ceremony of the Global Startup Competition, an initiative that showcases innovative projects and promotes entrepreneurial talent in the water and energy sectors.
Internationalisation and Access to New Markets
The first session of the day, “Scaling Abroad: Support Tools for Business Internationalisation,” offers a practical overview of programmes and services designed to facilitate the overseas expansion of SMEs. Speakers will present regional and national support initiatives, opportunities in West Africa, European financing instruments and territorial cooperation through the INTERREG MAC programme.
International Tenders and Business Opportunities
The second session, “International Tenders and Contracting: Business Opportunities,” focuses on mechanisms for accessing multilateral contracts and participating in projects funded by international organisations. The discussion will review institutional support services, the identification of opportunities in African markets, and experience in executing projects in sectors such as water, energy and infrastructure.
