Oktobert Fest This Weekend in Caleta de Fuste

The Great Bavarian Party, the Oktobertfest in Caleta de Fuste, delighted visitors with music, traditional dishes, sweets, drinks, and classic games, according to Mayor Matías Peña. He highlighted the festive atmosphere, describing it as “a square surrounded by a market of elaborate varieties, stalls for the occasion.”

The dance troupe Academa Datana animated the event, delivering a vibrant performance and dancing alongside the many attendees seated at large communal tables across the plaza. Adding an international flair, a German-speaking announcer from Hola FM served as the event’s charismatic speaker.

The OktobertFest was organized by the Antigua City Council’s Department of Festivities, under the direction of councilor Pedro M. Armas Martín.
