Pájara Erects Tents for Feaga 2026

The City Council collaborates with the Cabildo of Fuerteventura in one of the most important fairs of the primary sector in the Canary Islands.

The City Council of Pájara, through the Works Department headed by Alexis Alonso, is completing the installation of the tents that will host exhibitions and artisan markets for the Feria de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de Fuerteventura (Feaga) 2026.

The installation work has begun and will be finished in the coming days to ensure comfort for visitors and artisans attending the fair, as well as to accommodate all services, food outlets, and leisure activities that will take place during the event.

“From the Works Department, as every year, we collaborate with the setup of this fair, in our firm commitment to support and showcase the primary sector,” explained Alonso.

“This is a great opportunity to promote the primary sector of Pájara and Fuerteventura,” highlighted José Manuel Díaz, the councilor for the Primary Sector, adding that it values the daily work of those who keep our traditions alive and guarantee the quality of the Majorero countryside.

Mayor Alejandro Jorge affirmed the commitment to collaborate year after year with Feaga, stating that “it is an essential showcase for the primary sector and, whenever the Cabildo needs it, within our possibilities we will support it.”

The installation of these tents is part of the council’s commitment to improve municipal infrastructure and provide citizens with comfortable and accessible spaces for events that promote tradition and rootedness in the municipality.
