Pájara will continue cleaning Costa Calma

The municipal government thanks the collaboration in the Cabildo’s shock plan and hopes it can return to the area soon.

The governing group of the Pájara City Council announced that the Cabildo of Fuerteventura has completed the intensive cleaning carried out in the Costa Calma area, focusing on the landscaped zones. The council expressed gratitude for the institutional support received during this operation.

Nevertheless, the municipality will keep working on the Palmeral, using both machinery and municipal staff, with the aim of further restoring and making usable various spaces in the area—a improvement already noticed by residents.

According to the City Council, this effort also reflects a strategic shift in cleaning and maintenance practices. While work has been ongoing continuously, it is now being divided into zones and tackled segment by segment, allowing greater visibility and efficiency in the conditioning of the spaces.

The corporation highlighted that this approach will continue until the current tendering process, being prepared by the council, is finalized and a specialized company takes over to carry out a comprehensive cleaning of the Costa Calma Palmeral.

The council underscored that this action is part of the commitments made by the municipal governing group to the Costa Calma community and to the progressive improvement of its public spaces and landscaped areas.
