Polar jet causes dip in Fuerteventura's low temperatures
We will have three days with very low temperatures at dawn
Light winds and anticyclonic conditions prevail, but minimum temperatures are falling because of the polar jet that is affecting the entire European continent and will be felt in the Canary Islands.
Minimum temperatures are expected to drop several degrees, possibly reaching as low as 9 °C during the early mornings and at sunrise on Fuerteventura.
Maximum temperatures will remain unchanged, and by midday the lack of wind will make the weather more pleasant.
This situation will last until Wednesday, when westerly winds arrive and the minimum temperatures moderate. No rain is expected in the coming days.
Regarding sea conditions, we will remain under an orange warning this Sunday, but wave intensity will decrease by Monday. The lull will last only until Wednesday, when waves of up to six metres high are expected again.
