Puerto del Rosario Continues Intensive Clean‑Up Campaign in New Municipal Areas

The works this time have been carried out on Sagrado Corazón, Comandante Franco, Gobernador García Hernández, Doctor Mena, and Ruiz de Alda streets.

The Puerto del Rosario City Council is pressing on with the intensive cleaning campaign “Love Me a Little More”, an initiative aimed at improving the overall condition of neighborhoods, villages, and streets throughout the municipality. The effort is coordinated by the Department of Municipal Services and involves the Local Police, Traffic, Local Development, and Parks & Gardens teams.

In this new phase, cleaning, brush clearing, urban furniture upgrades, and green‑area enhancements are being performed on the aforementioned streets, with the goal of providing residents with more pleasant and safer environments.

“We want each action to be noticeable to the citizens and for them to feel they are part of the positive change we are driving in the municipality,” said Mayor David de Vera.

Municipal Services councilor David de León highlighted the collaborative nature of the work and the commitment of municipal staff:

“We are combining human and technical resources to reach more areas in less time and with better results. However, the real success of this campaign also depends on neighborhood commitment.”

The campaign will continue across various neighborhoods and villages of the municipality, aiming to keep improving the urban environment and quality of life in Puerto del Rosario.
