Puerto del Rosario council extends public service hours to 3pm

Puerto del Rosario council says its public service hours will run from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, following residents’ requests.

Puerto del Rosario council has announced longer public service hours. Residents will be able to access services from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Onda Fuerteventura reported the change on 2 November 2026. It is intended to make council services easier to access in Fuerteventura’s capital. The report does not give a start date for the new hours.

The council says residents had asked for more time to make enquiries and complete council paperwork. The longer hours aim to improve access to face-to-face help and meet users’ needs. This includes people who need to deal with council business during the morning.

For residents planning a visit, the key change is the later weekday closing time of 3pm. The announcement does not state the previous public service hours. It also gives no details of appointment arrangements.
