Puerto del Rosario Gets Modular Tent for Community Events
The 300 m² infrastructure will bring cultural, social and sporting activities to every corner of the municipality
In Puerto del Rosario, on 10 September 2025, the city council purchased a new modular tent covering 300 square metres (10 × 30 m). The aim is to boost and decentralise the provision of public activities across all villages and districts of the municipality.
The modern structure will offer a versatile, safe, covered space for events, strengthening social and cultural life and ensuring better coverage of initiatives aimed at citizens, regardless of where they take place.
“This investment reflects the governing team’s commitment to improving municipal resources for the community. We want Puerto del Rosario to have the means necessary to hold activities under the best possible conditions, creating spaces for meeting and coexistence,” said Mayor David de Vera.
Councilor for Citizen Participation Jenifer Pérez added:
“The 10 × 30 m tent gives us the ability to reach every corner of the municipality, responding to the growing demand for event spaces—especially those that promote neighbourhood participation and community dynamism. Its use will be coordinated and supported by municipal services staff to guarantee proper organisation, set‑up and operation each time.”
With this acquisition, the Puerto del Rosario City Council reaffirms its commitment to valuing citizen participation as a cornerstone of local development, expanding the resources available to foster social and cultural activity throughout the entire municipal territory.
