Puerto del Rosario Hosts the “Sowing Color” Participation & Association Fair

The Plaza of Peace will host a citizen gathering on September 13 to showcase the work of local associations and collectives.

The upcoming Saturday, September 13, the Plaza of Peace will come alive with the fifth edition of the Participation and Association Fair “Sowing Color.” The event has become a cornerstone meeting point for the associative fabric of the island’s capital and promises another afternoon packed with activities, workshops, and community interaction.

Promoted by the Puerto del Rosario City Council, the fair will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., bringing together a wide array of local associations and collectives. Visitors will be able to explore informative stands, take part in open‑air dynamics, and discover the remarkable diversity of initiatives driven by the local nonprofit sector.

“This fair, which gains participation each year, reflects the strength and organizational capacity of our citizens. Puerto del Rosario boasts a solid, diverse, and creative associative fabric that is key to building a more participatory municipality with a higher quality of life,” said Mayor David de Vera.

“‘Sowing Color’ is not just a fair: it is the best showcase of what we can achieve when we work together as a community. From the City Council we want to keep promoting these meeting spaces that highlight the work of our associations and foster collaboration among neighbors,” added Jenifer Pérez, Councillor for Citizen Participation.

The “Sowing Color” Fair celebrates the diversity, commitment, and creativity of Puerto del Rosario’s associative network, strengthening community bonds and contributing to a more cohesive society.
