Puerto del Rosario launches 24/7 self-service kiosk for all transactions

The Puerto del Rosario City Council unveiled its new Municipal Self‑Service Kiosk on Tuesday, a tool that will enable residents to carry out procedures without having to visit municipal offices during regular opening hours.

Through the device, users can perform common administrative tasks such as issuing registration certificates, obtaining travel certificates, checking and paying bills, settling municipal taxes and debts, printing duplicate documents, accessing the City Council’s electronic portal and those of other administrations, as well as making tax inquiries.

The kiosk also incorporates several accessibility features, including a touch screen, electronic ID reader, synthetic voice system, and a Braille keyboard, ensuring a more comfortable and inclusive experience for everyone.

According to an official statement, the new equipment is an “innovative, autonomous and agile” solution that will allow municipal procedures to be carried out 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The presentation ceremony took place on Virgen del Rosario Street, next to the Citizen Service Offices, where the exterior terminal has now been installed.

The addition of this service marks a significant step forward in modernising local administration and implementing digital solutions for the benefit of citizens.

“With the launch of this Municipal Self‑Service Kiosk we continue bringing the administration closer to the people. We want to offer useful, fast services that are available at any time, making everyday life easier for our neighbors,” said Mayor David de Vera.

“This new equipment reflects the City Council’s commitment to digital transformation, incorporating modern tools that improve public service and simplify many everyday procedures,” added Rosa Rodríguez, Councilor for New Technologies.

Through this initiative, the City Council continues to adopt innovative solutions aimed at delivering a more accessible, efficient, and citizen‑focused administration.
