Rain forecast for the eve of the Three Kings

Models point to widespread drizzle across the island

The weather on Monday will be very humid throughout Fuerteventura, with the possibility of light rain across the whole island at least until the early afternoon.

Most models indicate that the Epiphany parade can go ahead as planned because the rain is expected to stop around 4 p.m. However, the forecast is uncertain, so it’s advisable to carry an umbrella.

In addition, sea conditions will worsen later in the day, and the trade winds will be strong on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures.

Waves of up to four metres in height and winds exceeding 50 km/h are expected in areas exposed to the trade winds, especially in the north, northwest, and southeast parts of the island.
