Rain Returns Friday with an Isolated Front
Throughout the week, temperatures will give a brief reprieve on the island of Fuerteventura.
Temperatures are set to rise slightly on the island starting this Tuesday, although the weather will remain cool overall. Light north‑origin winds and clearer skies than clouds are expected, especially over the central and southern parts of the island.
The current conditions will persist until Friday, when a new front will approach from the northwest. The front will bring rain, stronger winds, and, most notably, a rough sea. Waves could reach up to 6 metres in height along the north and west coasts of the island.
As a result, January will close with high humidity on Fuerteventura and with rainfall totals that have not been recorded on the island for decades.
