Regina brings up to 6‑meter waves to the north and west of Fuerteventura
Strong sea conditions accompanied by north‑west winds up to 65 km/h
The low‑pressure system Regina, which will settle northeast of Lanzarote in the coming hours, will bring unstable weather back to Fuerteventura—very strong winds, rain, and especially a high sea state. Precaution is strongly advised from this evening onward in coastal areas, particularly in the north and south of the island. The wind episode will be especially fierce across almost all of Fuerteventura during the early hours of Wednesday. All indications suggest that wind impact will be lower along the eastern coast, especially in Puerto del Rosario.

Expected rainfall
All models indicate that rain will accompany the system from Monday night until Wednesday morning. Extra caution is recommended along the coast and inland, especially on Tuesday night into Wednesday.
