Rescue on Cuesta Perico After He Warned His Family He Wasn't Coming Home

The Local Police of Puerto del Rosario announced the location and rescue of an injured person in a hard‑to‑reach area of Cuesta Perico, near the Los Estancos Technology Park, on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police’s social‑media update, the alert came from the victim’s relatives, who noticed he had left home and failed to return. Officers from the Local Police and the Municipal Fire‑Prevention Service arrived on the scene and located the individual at around 19:30.

The victim had fallen into a small ravine and was unable to get up due to injuries to his legs. After receiving emergency care, he was carried on a stretcher to a spot accessible for the Canary Islands Emergency Service ambulance.

He was then evacuated to a medical centre for further assessment and treatment, the police reported.

The municipal authorities reminded residents that in any emergency they can call 112 or contact the Local Police offices in the island’s capital at 928 850 635.
